Being represented in the crisis management committee that gather all concerned authorities at the governorate level as well as at the central level, ERC functionalize its auxiliary role to the government during disasters.

ERC basically provide temporary shelter to the sufferers, immediate relief items, distribute food...etc. in coordination with all key players.

Strategic stockpiling of relief materials is maintained by ERC at the branch level as well as at the regional warehouses and at the central level to ensure rapid mobilization of relief items to the affected areas.
