“You Can” an educational and entertaining day for people with special needs

The Egyptian Red Crescent organized, in cooperation with the Ain Shams University student activity "x-volunteer" on Monday, April 24, 2017, an educational and entertaining day for people with special needs, with the participation of the university students under the slogan "You Can" at ERC headquarters in Nasr City.
The day included a number of workshops, such as a workshop for Entrepreneurship, another for field photography for the blind and a workshop for human development.
Some of Egypt’s champions who got sports medals for special needs participated in this day such as Abeer Emad Abdel Halim, swimming champion, Amal Abu Al-Fotouh, Egypt Karate champion, Fatima Ahmed, Egypt bow and arrow champion, Ahmed Yaser Ahmed, Egypt table tennis champion, Mohamed Hatem Al-Nimr, champion of Egypt in swimming and African champion in the trio and Mohamed El-Laqqany, Egypt champion of Karate.
These champions presented their experiences with the journey of disability and how they challenged them and achieved world championships.
