Egyptian Red Crescent provides health awareness to migrants and refugees through Amira project
Based on the Egyptian Red Crescent's keenness to provide assistance and support to vulnerable groups and the most vulnerable groups, the Association, through the AMIRA project, conducted health awareness raising, including awareness of hepatitis A-B-C-D-E, for African refugees and migrants in the regions (Arab Maadi - Ard al-Liwa - Ain Shams).
This is in order to spread health awareness about hepatitis infections, how to prevent them, and to know the ways of transmitting the infection, in addition to making a medical survey for communicable and non-communicable diseases that includes the detection of the C-B virus and measuring sugar, pressure, weight, height and waist circumference.
Taking into consideration following precautionary measures such as personal protection measures, temperature measurement and monitoring the status of beneficiaries.
