Youth Clubs

The Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC) youth clubs are widespread all over Egypt covering all governorates. These clubs which amount up to 36 clubs in total include more than 20,000 young men and women.

Through affiliation of the Egyptian Red Crescent to the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, it participated in youth exchange programs between the different Red Cross and Red Crescent societies. Throughout this program, youth from the ERC attend youth camps and meetings abroad and consequently youth from other national societies are invited to join local camps in Egypt.

ERC organizes training programs for youth leaders, on the national level, in parallel with the regional and international programs that are organized by the IFRC. These training programs were held in over 20 countries, and included training on relief activities, health promotion, environmental health, volunteerism, and international humanitarian law.
