03 Jun 2015
For 3 days, the Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC) hosted 38 children from Community Center for Children in Giza, which belongs to Save the Children, to attend Health and Safety training course. ERC organizes this training course in cooperation with Save the Children. 38 children are refugees from Sudan, Somali, Palestine and Morocco. Their ages ranged between 9 to 12.
Children were trained on 5 components: first aid, healthy life style, disasters response, and climate change and road safety.
The Health and Safety program started by ERC in 2006 in several governorates: Cairo, Giza, Kalioubia, Sharkia, Monofiya, Luxor and Aswan.
