Sportive day for raising the awareness of blood donation importance

More than 150 youth participated in the sportive day organized by the Egyptian Red Crescent ( ERC ) on Friday October 9th in cooperation with Go Bike team.
The aim of this day was to promote the culture of non-remunerated blood donation among sportive youth.
The day started by a bicycle ride on 6:00 AM which was directed to ERC headquarters in Nasr city , where the participants were welcomed by ERC leaderships ,afterwards, a lecture were given on the importance of blood donation by Dr. Ihab Sirag El Din , ERC Secretary General quality advisor.
At the end of the day the participating youth donated their blood in ERC blood donation vehicle, promising to donate their blood on a regular basis.
