ERC participates in " tourism & safe roads " campaign

On Saturday 30th January2016 , ERC in cooperation with Automobile and touring club of Egypt, Ministry of tourism , traffic department, Ministry of interiors, Egyptian ambulance organization and Amer group participated in " tourism & safe roads " campaign
ERC deployed 45 volunteers in this event to raise the awareness on road safety for the drivers on Ain Sukhna roads ,in addition to an emergency action team to provide the first aid service in case of accidents or emergencies.
The campaign started at the checkpoint of Ain Sukhna road, where ERC volunteers distributed road safety awareness brochures to the drivers on the road. then the campaign was directed towards Porto Sukhna resort where ERC volunteers demonstrated the activities of the Egyptian Red Crescent specially the activities concerning road safety.
It is worth mentioning that ERC participates in this campaign under the slogan ( your safety , your responsibility )which aims at raising the awareness of the road safety and the advised precautions to be followed to avoid road accidents.
